Ballet/Pointe

Come enjoy the excitement and beauty of classical ballet.  Our ballet program focuses on terminology and technique through the execution of barre work, center and across the floor exercises. Pointe is an extension of serious training.  All point students are expected to take at least 2 ballet classes per week.

Adv. Beginner is offered Thursdays 5:15-6:15

Intermediate is offered Mondays 4:30-5:30 (pointe) and Thursdays 5:15-6:15

Advanced is offered Mondays 5:30-6:30 (pointe) and Thursdays 4:15-5:15

Jazz

Jazz class focuses on learning proper technique, rhythm, isolations of the body, flexibility and strength. 

Adv. Beginner is offered Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30

Intermediate is offered Wednesdays from

 6:30-7:30

Advanced is offered Wednesdays from 

5:30-6:30

Lyric

Lyrical is a fluid combination of ballet and jazz that challenges students to interpret music and express emotion.

Contemporary

Contemporary class includes floor work, improvisation, versatility of body lines, and dynamic movements. This style allows students more mature artist freedom.

Intermediate is offered Mondays 5:30-6:30

Advanced is offered Mondays 4:30-5:30

Modern

Modern is a grounded style of dance with a focus on the torso, flexibility of the spine, and core strength. Our modern program focuses on Horton technique, but also explores Graham and Limon.

Intermediate/Advanced is offered Mondays from 6:30-7:30

Tap

Tap class is designed to develop rhythm, style and sound clarity.  Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knees and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement.

Adv. Beginner is offered Wednesdays from 6:00-6:30

Intermediate/Advanced is offered Saturdays from 12:00-1:00

Stretch and Strength

Dancers learn to properly stretch and strengthen their muscles in order to improve overall range of motion and control of their bodies.

Wednesdays 4:15-5:30

Jump and Turn

Dancers learn proper technique to execute jumps, leaps, kicks, turns and tricks. Be ready to challenge yourself!

Wednesdays from 5:30-6:00
